Weird Tropical Weather in the Midwest
We have a half dozen tornado warnings, a few touchdowns, and apparently no damage. It is about 76 degrees and the dew point is 74, so we have a weird tropical setup. No supercells, but lots of nasty little cells are blowing up.
It is awesome having all the online access to radar and realtime streaming video reports from our local TV people. So far, the threatening stuff has blow right by us. Last funnel report that was confirmed by spotters was about fifteen miles SW of us, and that cell just went by over us without so much as a drop of rain.
Sirens continue to blow, but no immediate threats are seen as far as I observe.
