Bill H-837
Article about the bill here.
Quote:
“Some professors say, ‘Evolution is a fact. I don’t want to hear about Intelligent Design (a creationist theory), and if you don’t like it, there’s the door,’” Baxley said, citing one example when he thought a student should sue.

Apparently, a Florida legislator is concerned that students who believe the earth is flat, or that it revolves around the sun, may have trouble getting an 'A' in Science. He has passed a bill which would allow a student to sue a teacher who does not respect the students views if they conflict with those of the instructor, or apparently the majority of the scientific establishment.
Of course, it will be real interesting to see what happens if you get a neo-nazi talking about racial superiority in a biology class. Can he sue the instructor for discrimination at the same time the instructor sues him for 'hate speech'?
And everyone thought that liberals were the ones running around making everyone be politically correct. It appears that we can only sit back and watch the true masters and information control and social engineering.
