My feelings are that you really can stop creating new threads to talk about this.

There are plenty of existing threads where you can beat this dead horse a little more.

Well, people seem to enjoy beating this dead horse. Here Steve is, trying to fit in by joing the dead-horse-beating crowd, and look at how his efforts are appreciated. You just can't win.

I really thought this post could be the LAST one about it. What better way to wrap up a subject than with a poll?

They came in like cowboys galloping through town, which, IMHO, is a little crass. Proving something by being obnoxious isn't necessary. Now, they've mostly settled down, and I've read some posts that have been interesting and shown some insight. Some of the AG folks need to just be who they are, and not tell us who they're trying to be.

If I could do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing. I am comfortable with myself. I like me.

Im not an Ancient, so I can't speculate an overall accurate affect, on their behalf... So I Aint voting.

I knew there was trouble, right here in CellarCity.... That's why I came in guns blazing.. Not wanting to start trouble, not mind gahoofing about abit.. Thats why I stated the obvious... " resistance is futile" (ok i didn't exactly say that) I think was poking fun at ourselves with the "galaxy" theme ie. "Alien Invasion"

If I had been at the forefront, maybe my approach would have been diff, but by the time I got any smoke signals, the AG group was pretty much on the negative sliding scale with the Ancients... I just wanted draw out the ones with the most "issues" or "attitudes"... But WTF, that's me at the AG realm also... That looney bin has many many subcultures via the boards.. Thousands of AGers are cluesless as to who other boardies are...

Steveevil, you never include "beer" or "boobs" in your damn polls.
Dammit get it right!

You really don't need to wrap it up Steve. These things have a way of wrapping themselves up, and my feeling is that you could well end up achieving the opposite of what you want. You'll just remind what a PITA your arrival was for the majority here - and just when things are settling down, as well...

It's pretty clear that the Cellar will happily welcome new members who don't try to turn the place upside down and who make a positive contribution. New ideas that prove interesting and worthwhile are always welcomed and there's some good stuff you've introduced that we didn't have before.

Everyone seems to be getting along fine. So, do you really need another poll to prove that everything is generally OK? Isn't that something that is speaking for itself?

Just my view - I don't need to vote any more - my vote will come by continuing to join in with the posts you and your friends make that interest me. I'm sure others will do the same. What better endorsement could you have?

Of course, you'd be guessing as to what it is exactly that he wants.
