Marichiko is a jerk!

I'm going to be away from the board for a while what with packing, moving, etc. I feel very disappointed that the board's owner had launched a petty attack on me. It seems to me that it would simpler for him to ban me, but what do I know? Not much according to some.

There's a big old Internet out there and there are plenty of other sites where I could just as happily spend my time. So, OK, UT hates me, but for some reason won't ban me. How about if I ban myself and never return? This is your big chance, LJ! Create lots of sock puppets and vote often!

I have not even seen anything concerning this.

"Why can't we all just get along"?

Good luck moving Mari. Myself and my girls moved all by ourselves for 2 weeks. We got to the point we had to take Tylenol just so we could finish. It was hell I tell ya! But worth it after we got here.

Hope you have lots of strong help.

Me neither, until now - if you want to check it out, Chey, look back through Mari's posts to the ones on Mari smoking. After reading the thread I felt I needed a ciggy myself - and I don't even smoke!

Mari, I've only read a small amount of recent posts, so perhaps I'm a bit off base. You know that you and I are cool. But perhaps you should stop doing stupid shit like this, engage in thought discussion and witty banter and pay no mind to those with whom you do not get along. This is like the second or third time that things have broken out like this with you and UT/LJ/etc.

Threads like this litter the board...put your energy into more productive things.

I think the big difference between Cellar and other boards is that UT wrote a public post iterating what he thinks about your posts, and the thought would never even cross his mind to simply ban someone on the basis of his own opinion.

He's a participant, not the lord and ruler of the domain.

I think people open themselves up to attack on message boards. If you let out too much, people will use it against you eventually. So, don't reveal too much, or deal with it. It's only words on a screen.

Sad, but true. It's better if people gave folks the benefit of the doubt and were more accepting. Then posters would be freer with their info.

i disagree with this. if you let out who you really are, then no one can really give you any shit. IF you're honest about it. i'm pretty well known here. and i don't mean i'm famous, i mean that i've been open about who i am, and what i'm about.

when you embelish or lie about who you are or what you're life is like, you will eventually be caught in the web, and exposed. THEN things get used against you. Especially if you are annoying, cloying, and self absorbed. The latter provides the motivation, the former the opportunity.

I've accepted the fact that maristinkigchiko is a member of this community. It's her right, in my opinion. I have zero respect for her, and her opinions mean shit to me because i believe she fabricates her entire persona. Who knows, if she was honest about who she really was, i might even like her.

BUT SHE'S NOT.

Speaking only for myself; I never lie on message boards, but I've found being too open and too honest and obviously happy with my life only paved the way for the angry message-board trolls not happy with their lives. In an anonymous forum such as a message board, people that are disgruntled, unhappy with their life, looks, luck, and/or level of happiness will try to knock others (having a good time with life) off their perceived high-horse.

But, LJ, I see where you're coming from. Exposed liars should expect to get their just desserts (especially when those that don't lie get some).

I have NOT found that to be true here. At all.

Well, sure, UT banned Jochser before you could witness it here.

Pre-emptive strike. Jochser=attention whore and excrement put together! I could tell that from his few posts.
