A bit cheeky...

Hi all,

I know I've not been a member here long, which is why I feel somewhat ashamed to be doing this, but I'm going to do it anyway...

I'm a 20 year old student from England, and I've been doing webdesign and the like for about 5 years now. I've recently set up a new internet business called the Exceed-Network.com. I'm not going to write a big long schpeil (sp?) here filled with dodgy jargon or me extolling the virtues of my business. Obviously, I'm biased. To cut it down to size, it allows anyone to have a lifetime webpage (at least 3 years) for £10 (or a bit more, depending on whether you want a special design, or to be shown more etc).

The business itself is in pre-launch, where I'm trying to get enough clients for the media to take it seriously. The reason I'm posting here is to see if anyone here would be interested in either becoming an Affiliate and earning a bit of money (10% for sales, 5% for the first sale of a new Affiliate you introduced, and a £5000 bonus for the best Affiliate with Exceed-Limitations.com; from Exceed-Limitations.com, there is about $290,000 of Affiliate earnings available) or would themselves be interested in some pages. Due to the fact this is a community and you'd be helping me out, I'm willing to strike you all some special deals if you do want some pages.

Anyway, I'll leave it there. I apologise greatly for what some might think amounts to spam, but I hope that the possibility of earning some money (in a non-spam way) while helping someone out might just about claw my way into the realm of a decent post.

In the meantime, I'll get my flamesuit.

Thanks!

It's cool...if it doesn't become a habit.

Hmmmm...I wonder if I could market stud service. Hey, the Nigerians can't really deliver either, and it doesn't stop them. Why should it stop me?

What does this mean? What might happen after 3 years?

Thanks Bruce! It won't become a habit

Clod: In all honesty, this depends on the success of the company. The 3 year time limit is a worse-case scenario whereby exceed needs to close down. However, it should be possible to keep the pages running for much longer than this; The aim is to have the sites run indefinitely, providing recurring exposure for many, many years.

It has been my experience that people who participate on The Cellar, as opposed to simply spamming, are usually well received if they have a service to offer.

As UT often points out, this is a Community first and foremost.

Well yeah, usually. It's the guaranteed satisfaction that's getting tougher, as customers get more demanding. I blame the internet porn for creating unrealistic expectations. But I always give 'em their penny back when asked.
