Bush: Uniter or Divider?

In 2000, Bush promised to be a "uniter, not a divider," who could "change the tone of Washington to one of civility and respect."

Nothining like hindsight.

I think a drum roll and a cymbal splash at the end would have given it more of a 'tounge in cheek' effect.

I just had to vote that way. I feel so much closer to my government officials now and things happen so much faster since he got in. Then again I really don't think any of them are uniters - unless you mean they are uniting themselves with more of your money.

He's a uniter. He has united all right-wing-pseudo-religious-selfish-conservative-nazi-control-freaks against the civilized world.

He's also united all the terrorists in the world and been their top recruiter

Hm. Gonna have to go with uniter. Despite all their differences, the rest of the world is united in their hate for us. That's quite an accomplishment.

am surprised at you, bigV.

You know as well as I that "United" was meant in a deconstructionist way. "I felt that you, alone among the cellarites, would understand this. Clearly, I was wrong in placing my trust in you."

That's easy: neither. He may be alot of things, but he isn't as unintelligent as he acts, IE "I'm just a regular guy" . . .
