People always disagree with moderation, but a community can't live without it.

Do you want me to reopen the thread?

not particularly. just seemed odd. i stopped reading him after i realized that he was a unimaginative, shitty troll. not that i pretend to have the ability to ignore a troll, just that the posts were too long, and i dont have that kind of time all in a row to keep up with a thread like that.

If you ever want to insult me where i wont see it, do it in the middle of some big long post. I tend to skip ones that are longer than 4 or 5 inches. especially if its all one paragraph.

do what ever seems right to you. i'd just not seen that before

Hit the "Register" button, up there on the upper-right and read the "rules" that everyone agrees to upon registering.

Well, he was a uniting point for the rational people. An obvious ass that people with diverse views could all laugh at together.

I thought twice about putting him on ignore. Once I saw all those smilies, I was about to put him on ignore when I saw UT banned him. That's twice that that has happened. UT saved me the trouble both times. I still have nobody on ignore. Good job, UT.

you could always tell them they're on ignore, but not put them on ignore. That one usually works really well! lol

In my experience, nobody aggravating enough to make me put them on ignore will give a damn whether I do it or not.

What about the bad post function? Can you find that? lol I haven't used that here, but I did on another site. I think it's what eventually led to me being banned.

You should all go there and see if you can get banned too.

Ummmmmm, you are over the limit of one purple frownie per day. I'm just sayin.'

And I've been banned from nicer boards than that.

Bruce - what post #10? I don't see any post #10.

I got banned for saying the place was a dictatorship (which I still stand by). The patriotic right wing American owner didn't appreciate the suggestion. The sad part was, I was actually jokingly telling someone if they didn't like how the site was run, they'd have to get over it cause they're not the one paying for it.
