Tip mug/Paypal
So, I'm trying to add a little something to the tip mug, click the link, log into paypal, it tells me I have to add a new card. Well the card that was on record just expired and was renewed, so I figure that's the problem, add the card with the new expiry date. It tells me that card is already added. Fine. Let's move on. Options are "add card" or "cancel". Add card. same thing. Cancel is ...well.. cancel.
Take my money, damn you! Any ideas? I have no intention of giving paypal another card # (if I have one to give) The card is good an valid for 4 years, paypal seems to think it is registered on my account, but insists I add a card to complete the transaction. Am flummoxed. Any ideas? I know I could go to the paypal home page and try from there, but frankly i already wasted enough frustration on this. Has anyone else experienced this with the Tip Mug link, or am I just a weirdo?

I know that I've had a card expire that I've used with paypal, and added the new exp. date with no problem. I don't recall it being anything other than straightforward.

that's what I would hope for -I think that's what happened last time -just input the new date and off we went....
perhaps changing expiry date now = terrorists

Cancel, then add it again. PayPal will not let you add the same card twice, even over multiple accounts. Worse comes to worse you could call PayPal.

Thanks, although there's no way to do that on that page. It's a task for another day, I feel. Today I am doing no "paperwork" I'm free, free ....to do the housework. And surf

Thanks all, no problem to update on the Paypal homepage, just a shame it couldn't tell me that was the problem and let me do that here.
Sorry it's so little and taken me so long, will try to do better in future -the cellar rocks.

This was a timely thread. It had been a long time since I hit the mug, so I did.

By the way, the new Google check-out is offering no transaction fees until the end of 2007. Then it's 2% +20c per transaction. I'm looking into it for the school scrip program.
