Anti-choice people have such respect for the sanctity of life, don't they?

HOLY SHIT.

That was my gynecologist's office. That's so crazy, they have a different business name and website for their general practice, but the doctor's names are the same and there's a photo of the building, definitely the same place.

Oh my god it's all making so much sense now. I was originally referred there from the college health center. There's a video camera out front so you can get buzzed in, and another lock on the door from the waiting room to the exam area. When I started the fertility treatments my doctor said very slowly and carefully, "You want us to deliberately work towards getting you pregnant?" Then I was transferred to a different doctor in the same building, presumably because that was just her specialty. And then the receptionist gave me the strangest look when she saw me being overjoyed at the fact that I'd finally gotten a positive pregnancy test. Then they had to refer me out for all of the prenatal care and delivery, because they didn't do any of that stuff.

Now my OB does my annuals, so it's not like I was going back there anyway, but damn. That's still freaky.

I read a very good story about a women who worked at an abortion clinic. If I can find it I will post it on one of the abortion threads.
