Tube vs. Net

anyone ever feel like their addiction to the tube is being treated with their new addiction to the internet?

no. I'm a multi-tasker. I watch tv and surf the Net all at the simultaneousness instant!

More competition from the Net for my reading material. When I discovered slash fanfiction (aka gay porn), my actual book fiction reading went WAY down for several years. And I've stopped buying so many magazines.

I am with Cloud. I do both. All the time. I rarely am on the net without the TV on or NPR.

I don't watch TV. That is to say I don't have a signal coming into my home. I have a 5-disc DVD player and a Netflix subscription.

Sorry, but what the hell does that have to do with me being more enlightened and whatnot because I'm not brainwashed by the TV and therefore I'm a better person? Anyways who the hell has a "home phone" anymore? People ask me for my "home phone" and I'm like . . . what year is this?

if you were truly enlightened, you'd have responded to my cry for help in a timely manner....i suspect that the reason you didin;t get my distress pm was that you were, in fact, watching judge judy on cable television, and not paying sufficient attention to the internet, and the cellar in general. also, i'd like to point out.....rimjob.
