Apparently this is the significance.
What’s to get? Geeks think it’s funny that the guy who created Star Wars, thus also having created Han Solo, was wearing a t-shirt referencing Han Solo while talking to the man who played the character Han Solo in the movie. It’s an inside joke that many people get. It’s hillarious really. It’s like when a guy named ‘George’ was a guest on the Colbert Report for having made a video spoof using Stephen Colbert’s own footage of himself doing lightsaber moves. ‘George’ being George Lucas - the man who created the lightsaber in the first place! Ha! Johnny C Says: July 25th, 2007 at 12:38 pm It’s funny because George is the guy who altered his own movies to make Han NOT shoot first. Meh didn’t seem to get it. That's from the comments below the article. I don't really get it myself although I think I have an idea about it being something to do with the last three movies comming first etc and there must be some pop culture reference to han solo's character being manipulated. Maybe there's a star wars freak out there who can inform us better?

I think this line's mostly filler.

In the original version of Star Wars Cantina scene, where Han and Greedo "negotiate", as soon as Han realized that Greedo couldn't be dissuaded, he shot him. In the updated 90's version, Lucas had Greedo shoot first, and somehow miss when Han does a bizarre double-jointed neck maneuver. Han, now an unambiguous victim, kills Greedo in retaliation.
In the second update, presumably in response to the fans, Lucas made them shoot almost simultaneously, though Greedo still was an inexplicably bad shot. But if you go frame by frame, you find he is still a bit quicker on the trigger, as a "haw haw" to the fans the change was made for.
