It's hard to find a video tour of Austin on youtube because hundreds of live music performances come up in the search results, but I did find this little gem:

Austin: a stinking hellhole of "putrefication" of man's sin.

I'd like to hear the White Stripes do a cover of West St Paul.

I looked for clips of Elverson...and they are ALL ambulance responses. Which....to be honest.....is a pretty accurate representation of our little borough. it's so sad.

Agreed. Similar to Green Onions by Booker T & The MGs, but not as good.

this is related...here's a guy with a blog called video haiku. He gives himself rules-- length of clip, ambient sound to capture the vibe of a place:
http://blog.videohaiku.com/
Lots of these are based in the Twin Cities, but he has some from his travels around the world. He is in the process of changing up his daily visual challenge, and I am curious to see what he pitches. those of you with cameras can play too.
