Your 'Fun' allowance

If you have too much fun all the time, should you expect to 'pay the price'? Will fate exact it's toll? Are Born Again whatevers a natural result of the pendulum style balance of one life?

I'm about halfway through what I expect to be my life span. I begin to wonder what my own scales look like. Where will I be paying the price? Where will I be reaping the reward? At 74, will I remember these questions I've asked of myself?

Just in case I do, I'd like to take this opportunity to call 74 year old Jim a cock. You Old Cock! you'd better not be wearing a diaper!

I had way too much fun when I was younger - I think its all downhill for me now . . . I'll just wither away and die old and alone.

ch'yeah......no doubt. for the fun youve had in your life, youll have to live to a hunderd and three and have anal fissures and psoriosis and gout the whole time to even it out, i bet.

maybe an irs audit or two and a root canal.

It really is a crap shoot. No way to really tell when it is all going to end, but it may be near. I think I will just keep having fun til it ends.

I try to keep it all in moderation. I try to have fun, but not overdo it...because karma is a son of a bitch.

I have a pendulum life.
I have fun with money, fun with food & drink, fun with not taking work seriously.

And then I pay.

I used to believe the solution was to find a man who reined me in during my times of excess. Now I'm all about taking responsiblity for myself. Less fun in some ways. But I have great stories to warm me.
