Ride to Work Day
July 16th, 2008 is the 17th annual Ride to Work Day. You can read more about it here. The site doesn't seem very informative, so I don't know if it's a US only (if so, sorry SG) or international event.
I'll probably ride my Transalp, which I just got running for the first time in four years. Anybody else? EDIT: I just found this site, which seems to indicate that it's also Ride to Work Day in the UK. EDIT 2: It's also National Motorcycle Week EDIT 3: They are claiming that commuting by motorcycle saves time. This is not the case for me as I tend to take the scenic route. It hadn't reached me, because it couldn't affect me.
Thanks for the thought! We have a reasonable amount of scooter (moped) riders in London. Nothing like Rome though. |

The number of motorcycles on the road today didn't seem any higher than other recent days (maybe because it's 97°F - and me all in leather).

I'll have to look on the way home to see if it seems like there are more bikes on the road.
