Youtube

Not sure where this should go, but I figured The Internet section should do. Here's the question:

I was just claiming I have no problem watching Youtube the other night when this happened to me today. I went to Youtube and this is what I got:

Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player. Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player.

I clicked on the blue words and downloaded the flash player. Nopes, still couldn't get the video to play. I still get that darn announcement. But this doesn't happen to all of the videos, just selected ones. The odd thing is that I tried viewing the same videos in my laptop, and they worked. I deleted the older version of Adobe Flash already, so there shouldn't a conflict.

Anyone has an idea what could be the problem?

Sorry, YouTube is a mystery to me.
I figure I'll be okay when they bring in voice recognition so it can hear me saying, "What? What the hell does that mean? It was fine yesterday. Bloody thing!"

I've got to look more into it but I've figured a way to view those youtube videos, just haven't exactly figured out the why. I simply disabled my symantec firewall. A few I just watched offer music downloads(to buy the song) or a link for ringtone.

Just in case anyone else who may have the same problem as I. You can try disabling your firewall.
