White Christmas, You Poor Bastards...

Well, looks like all of our Cellarites in and around the Cellar's home base are going to get bombed over the next 24 hours. We will all expect pictures and horror stories! Good luck. May the Force be with you!

My roommate is picking up a family member from PA because of one of the recent ice storms up there. He flipped his vehicle and trailer.

Be safe guys!

It's been snowing for an hour now. Everything is white. They are now predicting 1-2 feet.

What the hell?!

26 degrees, sunny, and RFN there are two nice young women in bikinis sunbathing in the park just across the road. I swear. They are about 50 meters away and easily visible out the window as I type this. There will be no pics, though, that would be rather dodgy/pervy. Also I think one is my neighbour/landlord's daughter.

Life is good.

At 7am, there are around 4-6 inches. At least that's my best guess poking my head out the door. Thank god for kids who are excited to go out to the curb to get the newspaper.

Finally we got some snow. Only about an inch, but it's snow. Hebe's B'day party today, though, and an away hockey game, so more of a hindrance than a help, but ...yay snow!

We had another dusting last night.
Enough to cover the ground and obscure yesterday's footprints, but nothing more.

Monday is supposed to be heavier though, nd we're still below 0 (C) as I type. PROPER winter weather, yay! Almost makes me wish I'd bought that jacket. Meh, cape is fine.

Well, I looked out the window when I first got up (about an hour ago) and pilau's paw prints were still there from last night. Then I looked out a half hour later, and it was snowing heavily.

THis means mum isn't happy about the idea of driving, so we can't go to Pets At Home for the boys' kibble. They;'re going to have to eat tinned food today (which means Pil wil probably have a bad tum). I hope it doesn't snow again tomorrow, I dont want Pil eating tinned food for days on end!

I can see why she wouldn't want to drive though. There's a distinct possibility the car wouldn't make it back up the Hough to her house (half of the lane is cobbled and it doesn't take much of a snow fall for it to become undrivable).
