Your job makes me cry.

You are awesome, Mister Elmo.

Midway through the visit, she threw her arms around Elmo’s neck and said, “Thank you, Elmo. I love you.”

Elmo - :

I need that type of career - the shit I do gives me virtually ZERO personal satisfaction. That is no longer acceptable for me.

Heh, yesterday I was on duty at the front desk. I got so many "thanks" and "you've been a big help" and even a "thanks so much, sweetie" and a "have a good day cutie" that I almost liked waiting on humans again.

I can't imagine the personal satisfaction you get, Shel, and also the heart-wrenching moments. I think you're wonderful.

Thanks guys. But let's not forget I'm also the one who wants to bang Matt Damon like a drum.

You started this thread to get Matt's attention? Matt probably knows how to google himself. You ho, you.

Cut that out. C'mon, you of all people should know what makes your dick hard doesn't define you as a person.

Anyone who likes to help underprivileged or less fortunate kids and elderly don't need a job in this field. There are many, many organizations that enable you to do so. This is the main reason I am so involved in the Loyal Order of Moose.

Great post, Shel. Great job, too. I'm sure you are blessed for your efforts.

Wow. I think there's something in my eye. Thank you Sheldon, and thank you Elmo. (Okay, Jim Henson too while we're at it - the Muppet King, RIP.)

Unfortunately, a vocal and well armed minority of the populace feel differently.

Great job, Shels. If anyone ever messes with you, I'm sure a lot of us here have your back. In a totally non-sexual, supportive way, of course.

Making sick kids happy is one of the coolest jobs I can think of.
