Crackberry Bold is chock full of awesomeness.
Of course the battery pull resets are somewhat tedious, but you only have to do it like once a month. There's probably some software-related cure that I haven't bothered to look up.

The Curve has been joy. The Blackberry trackball is a great way to get around. Touch is oh-wow until you need precision -- that's my stance, and I'm sticking with it. I love its actual keyboard. Gmail integration is awesome, as is Google Search, Maps. The phone jack is (the correct) 3.5mm, the charging/connecting is (the correct) mini-USB. a really cool desktop charging cradle is $19.95 at crackberry.com where you can also find a free battery pull app called "QuickPull Free". Actually you could browse the whole Crackberry "free" section to see what software you can get for nothing: Pandora...

Gee, I have a basic Motorola V-series phone. Never used it for internet, games, or anything else save the alarm clock function. I do use a Blue Parrot headset, but that's all. I send less than five texts a year. It's a PHONE people!
I have all the other gadgets that do what I need better...laptop, iPod, alarm clock etc.

My blackberry is about 3 years old. It looks very ugly. Nothing stylish about it at all, but I love the qwerty keyboard. I love it that the screen is recessed by a millimeter or two, which keeps it from getting all scratched up like my iPod. It's got the thumb wheel on the side, which works well. It's not tiny, but it's small enough to keep permanently in my pocket.
I wish it had a camera. |

I re-bought my Sony W580i. Unbranded, unbroken!
Music, camera, PC Synchronization, pedometer, oh, yeah and a phone. No goddamn data plan. Fuck you, AT&T. I'll keep my $25/mo plan.

Motorola Krave
Eh, I don't know. Texting isn't too easy...it's like the timing is off from one "button" to another, and when you turn it sideways to get the keyboard the "buttons" are just too small. http://www.motorola.com/consumers/US...008406b00aRCRD

Google is going to keep on winning and winning and winning. Android will be the way.

I passed the Verizon/Blackberry kiosk at the mall the other day . . . rather smugly fending off the phone pimps with one word:
iphone!
