The Sycophant Manifestos

Main Entry: sy.co.phant
Pronunciation: -f&nt also -"fant
Function: noun
Etymology: Latin sycophanta slanderer, swindler, from Greek sykophantEs slanderer, from sykon fig + phainein to show -- more at FANCY
Date: 1575
: a servile self-seeking flatterer
synonym see PARASITE
- sycophant adjective

I could start my own forum, but Syc has done such a good job here I thought, "What the heck, why not be a parasite and start my own thread here?"

Nic, where I'm from, we call that respect. You've posted enough stuff (beyond photos) in the past 10 months that you have built up your account in the First National Respect Bank of the Sycamore. You might have noticed in your travels here that I tend to vary my replies on more serious offerings depending upon the person to whom I'm replying (or at least I think so).

On the surface, I agree with your opinion. Deep down, I disagree, totally.
