If Marriage Were Outlawed Only Outlaws Would Have Inlaws

My wife tells me yesterday that her mother is planning on moving up to our town. The final nail in the coffin of her decision was that her apartment building is installing a cell tower on the roof. Something about it emitting cancerous commie rays. WTF? You live in Westchester, it's not like there aren't millions of them all over the place. Whatever.

For those of you following the saga, this is the same woman who, last year, was banned from our house by her own daughter for four months!

Now we are having huge, heated arguments about the subject.

I will need to calm down a bit before I can even begin to post about how fucked up this is. Frankly, I'm ready to move out, but I don't want to leave the kids.

Owls have nothing on my MIL

I have an extra room, but you have to shovel snow, eat food off the floor, and go get beer.

Seriously, good luck man, doesn't sound like much fun.

I'm sorry.

I have a mom going through problems so I can really relate.

I keep promising myself, when the time comes, I will go peacefully to a community retirement place.

Crap. Sorry bro, try to figure out what is best for the kids. Try very hard to be calm and rational so you can agree to some ground rules ahead of time.

Oh I love Josephine Hull in Arsenic and Old Lace. She was also in Harvey!

Sorry man.

The only sane answer is to install a cell tower on your roof.

Man that blows.
But I think that any extended family member that threatens the integrity of the nuclear family must be shunned or killed. That shit just can't be tolerated.

There must be a microwave tower in or near your town. Take a picture of it and photoshop it to look really big and send it to your MIL.

Tell her all about that class-action lawsuit, you know, about the town's water supply...
