True Blood Season 3...

...starts tonight. In it's honor, we are grilling a lot of red meat and having a premiere party for a select group of our Pagan friends who don't mind feeling sleazy in the name of amusement. Who else is watching?

not me--the extreme deviation from the books' plot pisses me off too much

I am reading the complete series. I am hooked. I have finished four.

Yesterday I went on Fancast and watched an episode. The images I have in my sweet little imagination far surpass what they have done for the story tv wise.
I don't know if I will watch another one.

I am sure I would have liked it better if I had never read the books.

I'm thinking that Franklin's alive. He didn't turn to goo; only his brains had to be cleaned off his bed. And Tara's still dreaming about him.

I don't get the whole vampire-soap opera connection.

I mean, I got Dark Shadows, drool over Barnabas Collins to this day, but the Paranormal Romance genre leaves me cold.

Absolutely loving this season!

Though I find the werewolves a tad underwhelming.

The vampire politics = awesome.

Eric...wow.

Okay, wait. Any gay characters?
That might interest me enough to watch it.
Otherwise, nah.

Ooh! Dana - catch Sherlock at all?
Co-created and starring the lovely Mark Gatiss. And Benedict Cumberbatch is worthy of being an RTD hero (rumours he was up for the Doctor at one point).
Mum, Maureen and I had a conversation about Sherlock over Sunday dinner last week. They couldn't belive I'd rather go to lunch with Mycroft than Sherlock. I pointed out we all had about the same chance... Then I was told off for being dirty Like they just wanted to comb his hair or something...
