Those big old sweetie pies are way less likely to do harm than some shaky yippy snappy little fart of a dog (breeds bred for fighting excluded.)

I'd rather have my nieces around my brother's giant Golden than around some friend's yappy little anklebiter. Many small dogs suffer from something much like short guy syndrome, which means short fuses, insecurity, distrust, and biting.

Seriously, with most breeds of dog (again, fighters excluded) the bigger the dog the bigger the brain the smarter he is. That little feller is not only safe from the dogs, he's safe from any harm that may try to come within 100 yards of him!
