Heartburn

I have a very sensitive stomach and the line between happy and very sad is thin. The change can be precipitous and one too many slices of toast can set in motion weeks of climbing back out of hell.

Today was just one of those days where I felt like I'd been hit on the head. Nothing feels good right now.

I am sorry, foot3. Do you take anything for it? Tums? pro-biotics?

You know what foods make you sick, foot. (Not being clairvoyant or anything, you mentioned it awhile back in case you don't remember.) I know it sucks donkey balls, but you know how to solve this problem if you really want to.

I say this with all the Dwellar-love in the world. I only kick your ass in this fashion because I am now grateful to the people who kicked my ass when I needed it.

My Mom had the same problem. She knew what she wasn't supposed to eat, but ate them anyway and suffered regularly. Until the perfect storm happened between her diet and some new meds and she landed in the hospital. She much more careful now. Much more.

Next time you feel the heartburn pain coming on, swallow two good tablespoons of plain yellow mustard if you can stand it. It works, and I've always heard mustard was good for the tummy.

Thanks, Clod, I know. The first step is admitting I have a monkey on my back. I felt today like I had a taste of the "heroin feeling" and wondered in my hypochondriacal way if what I was feeling was a sliver of minifob's world.

Tonight I made stir fried veggies and rice, ate a few carrots and felt better right away. The two hard parts are being nice to myself and not reacting to the feeling of (I can't remember the words, I swear, it feels like I am stoned, This is fucked up when I can't recall simple words) the feeling of not being allowed to have something.

H2 blockers mask the problem. 2 tbsp of apple cider vinegar whenever you feel heartburn coming on. Eat broccoli steamed once a week.
