Roguelikes

I can't get enough Dwarf Fortress now. and before that it was Nethack. I've only ascended in Nethack twice, and both times i got well more than my fair share of wishes, but i've only been playing it a couple years, so that's not too shabby.
i know ut mentioned loving nethack. any other ASCII gamers out there?

(if you play with the tileset you're a heathen.)

I've played Angband and some of the Angband variants (as well as Moria, ages ago).

I won Rogue, but only by implementing a save and restore feature with .bat files. ie - cheating. I never got too far in Nethack. I find I enjoy those games much more in theory than practice.
