Wanderer, I had not see that website (e.g. the User Galleries) before.

I'm down on Google now, because that is the sort of thing Google used to do.

I came across this site/project while going through an article on Google's lesser known projects (of which there are surprisingly quite a few and good ones at that).
Its good to see some corporate muscle working for promotion of art (even if it means more goodwill and publicity stunt for the Google).
