GoAnimate demo

An accounting firm has asked me if I want to produce a few sales animations for them, using the GoAnimate platform. (Clod, this could lead to a little bit of voiceover work for you. Not much though, they only want a few short vids.) Do you guys think this is too dirty to give them as a quick demo?

Accounting firms are pretty conservative. Unless you've been given the distinct impression that this is some sort of hip young startup kind of place, I wouldn't think they'd appreciate the humor. Hell, it probably violates sexual harassment policies just to let the sales people watch it.

I'd personally go with more of a "typical" sales video like the kind they'll be asking you to make. It will be boring, but corporate types eat that shit up.

I got the gig, for at least one video - I think they have 3-4 more they want to do, maybe more, but they've hired me to do the first one, which will be a longer form of the last demo.

It's not great money but... it's half audio work, and that is the most fun I will have professionally, in a long time. Plus, who knows -- if these go well maybe I will shop myself out to do more of this kind of thing.

Waiting to hear back if this is good enough. It's not good enough for me, I would like to do something much stronger but the platform is really limiting.
