Videos about gaming...

Yep. Like the title says - this here is a thread for videos about gaming. Though - cartoons about gaming would also fit....or articles. But mainly vids.

This is what prompted me to make the thread: an attempt by Charlie Brooker to explain video games to Jon Snow - journalist and news presenter. Caught it in passing when it aired,last year, but was avoiding youtube clip missions at the time.

Shadow of Mordor. AWESOME game. I've been obsessed for about a week now. It's SO gratifying to finish an enemy after a long fight. this video really captures the experience.

It's excellent. the movement is very much like Assassin's Creed... but less frustrating when climbing up buildings... and the fighting is intense. When you're surrounded by 15 or 20 Uruks and have to fight your way out, it gets very very intense. heart rate goes up, controller gets slippery.... sometimes you get so outnumbered that you have to turn tail and run for it. sometimes an archer will kill you before you can dodge..... but sometimes..... you kill all the bad guys and get that boss alone. that's a huge hook.

Ok this is what im into currently ,
Arma 2-3 are Military sims, verrrrrry realistic , nun of that hoping and bouncearound like in battle field and the such ,
There is a group called Shacktac that has been around for quite a few years , they do community battles ( 100 + folks ) , some times PVP some times all against the AI ,
in both the armas you can shoot , fly , drive EVERY THING !!!!!
LOTS of Mods and addons are out there , all allowed and infact ENCOURAGED by the MFG !!!! Name anpther game where that is true !

this vid is over an hour long , so watch it all if you want , i have a few times .

I started it at about 46 minets in , at about 54 55 dude gets hit , then WATCH the light show from there !!!

I think Gary's Mod and Minecraft encourage user mods. I know Skyrim does.

Spencer plays Arma and Kerbal Space a lot. both very realistic simulators.

Yeah KSP is cool i have played with it some ,
but it takes a Betterer Puter than i have to Really take advantage of the game ,
same with Arma 3
