Strange happenings....

BRISTOL, England - Although many college students face
rising debt, a college student in England is auctioning her
virginity on the Internet for cash. Rosie Reid, who attends
Bristol University, in Bristol, England, placed an ad in
cyberspace nine days ago and she said she's been flooded
with offers, the Herald Sun reported. The 18-year-old said
one offer was for $23,500. "I want to be able to concentrate
on my studies without worrying about money," said Reid, a
first-year student. "It seemed that my virginity was some-
thing really valuable, yet at the same time something I
could do without."

Interesting...

Someday I want to be rich. Some people get so rich they lose all respect for humanity. That's how rich I want to be.

A 43-year-
old woman went beyond the call of grandmother duties by giving
birth to her twin grandchildren, who have yet to be named.
With the real mother able to produce healthy ovaries but minus
a developed womb, a surrogate mother was searched for. After
four years without finding a volunteer to carry her child,
the woman's own mother stepped up and was proud to give birth
to her daughter's children.

A 2ft-long alligator fell from the sky at Evansville, Indi-
ana on May 21, 1911, landing on the front doorstep of Mrs.
Hiram Winchell's home. When the animal tried to crawl
inside, it was clubbed to death by Mrs. Winchell and neigh-
bors armed with bed slats.

So much for raining cats and dogs....

Were either Ace Rimmer or Nazis involved?

From "Bizarre News"

HOLLAND, Mich. - Some parents will name their son after the father, tacking a Jr. or II onto the end of his name. This tradition was apparently too common for one engineering
techie who decided to add 2.0 to his newborn son's name. Jon Blake Cusack persuaded his wife, Jamie, into naming their
child Jon Blake Cusack 2.0. Version 2.0 was born at Holland
Community Hospital last Tuesday, and he was taken home Friday. Cusack said he wanted to name his son something different and came up with the idea a few months ago. After encouraging his wife to go along with it, she finally conceded a week before the birth. The proud parents sent out an electronic birth announcement after 2.0's birth. "I wrote in the birth announcement e-mail stuff, like there's a lot of features from version 1.0 with additional features from Jamie," said papa Cusack.

Welcome to the computer age....
