9/30: Flooded Mexican road
![]() Hurricane Julliette is downgraded to a tropical storm and the only concern for the US is the humid air it will bring to San Diego for the football game today. (Yeah, I'm watching pre-game on Fox this morning.) This interesting photo shows some of the results in Mexico. I'm guessing this is one of those places where, if it rains, things suddenly and unexpectedly turn into a flood. I've heard about this sort of thing - in the deserts of Arizona and California, you can find yourself three feet deep in fast water while just driving along, when the water has nowhere to go. |
