Tulips, on the grounds of the Kentucky State capitol:

Your photographer's eye is getting really good, NBN. I always enjoy your photographic posts very much.

Thanks guys, here's a few more
First, the historic stuff:
Abraham Lincoln's birthplace, near Hodgenville, Kentucky: Impressive monument: <img src="http://www.myrefrigerator.com/Apr2004/LincolnExt.jpg"> <img src="http://www.myrefrigerator.com/Apr2004/LincolnInn.jpg"> Inside a building that looks like the Supreme Court, the space is nearly filled with this humble log cabin: <img src="http://www.myrefrigerator.com/Apr2004/LincolnLogs.jpg"> This spring is where Honest Abe took his first drink of water: <img src="http://www.myrefrigerator.com/Apr2004/SinkingSpring.jpg"> <img src="http://www.myrefrigerator.com/Apr2004/LincolnSpring.jpg"> ____________________________________________________ Now the pretty stuff: Kentucky countryside. They call these Redbud trees. There is an obvious outbreak of mass color-blindness in Kentucky, because I didn't see any bluegrass there either: <img src="http://www.myrefrigerator.com/Apr2004/RedbudTrees.jpg"> Muddy road: <img src="http://www.myrefrigerator.com/Apr2004/MuddyRoad.jpg"> My favorite pic from the trip. I call it 'Rainbow Curve'. Great place to film a Saturn commercial, I think: <img src="http://www.myrefrigerator.com/Apr2004/RainbowCurve.jpg"> ____________________________________________________ Now the funny: How about a little KY ACTION, kids? <img src="http://www.myrefrigerator.com/Apr2004/KYAction.jpg"> Duke sucks, but... <img src="http://www.myrefrigerator.com/Apr2004/Illini.jpg"> |
