It's amazing how many people haven't realized that the only real differences are in the feel good quotient of the candidates.

I think Dean was the more honest choice. However, I do feel that Kerry will not be as much of a screwup as Bush and Company. At the very least, we will not have this conservative culture war to deal with.

The most important difference will be the cabinet.

If we end up with Kerry, the Republican Congress might suddenly regain their fiscal sanity.

I think you've nailed it but I wonder if it would be a change for the better.
On second thought,.....how could it be worse.

Thaz not good.

You ever heard the old cliché, "cheer up, things could get worse?" Well, we cheered up, and sure enough, things got worse.

Kerry suggested McCain for Secretary of Defence.
That's gotta be a good sign.

Bush has traditionally had two poll issues that he could use against Kerry. The war on terrorism and the war in Iraq. According to this recent CNN/USA Today poll, he just lost the lead on the Iraq issue. Now Kerry and Bush are neck and neck on Iraq. All Bush has now is terrorism. Kerry wins on all domestic issues relating to economy, environment, education, etc.

They are neck and neck in the polls for the election overall, even with Bush outspending Kerry something like 3 to 1 on the campaign.

Should be interesting...
