we are on the edge of 100,000 posts.

UT, is there any way of identifiying the 100,000th post? apart from repeatedly reloading the main page.

THAT'S A BUMMER. I was thinking along the lines of what the ladies were saying. Not so much my usual post count obsession, bruce. I was thinking that maybe you'd let them pick one of your dodads as a prize

, or I could send them a free tshirt or something goofy like that. I looked at the post ID of the most recent, and the # is well over 100k. i imagine that the postid stays the same even if a post is deleted. hence the disparity between that # and the one listed on the front page.

We'll just have to monitor it closely as it nears.

keep your eye on it, you could be the winner.....of what I don;t know, but i personally will put up a tshirt if UT has one in your size among the extras.

Actually, that wasn't the real 100,000th post anyway. The system apparently counts deletions, and the last post I saw had a number near 102,000.

(EDIT: This post is #101,954.)
