11/27: Dead Taliban, live Afghan

This came from 11/16, right as the Taliban were running away. The Afghan guy, not a part of the alliance, just a regular ol' citizen, throws a rock at a dead Taliban fighter in disgust. The fighter was killed by Alliance rebels when a bunch of Taliban tried to hijack a car to escape.

Note that this is said to be a "highway" north of Kabul. Your basic highway with your basic ditch beside it.

Stoning the dead. Thats a pretty intense example of how much people there hated the Taliban.
