MRE

MRE's. My take on this. The food is ok. My complaint isn't about the food, but the packing.
Yesterday I had Chicken Fajitas w/yellow rice & wild rice Pilaf.
The damn hot bag, where you're to place the meal is a bag. By my figures,143mm. wide flat. then you try to poke the chicken, which is 120mm, but not flat. Then the rice thing. See where I'm going with this?
I'm too old to reup to learn how to beat the system. Oh I forgot the Tortillas, which were 150mm.
So how do you put x lbs of something in a small bag?
While I'm at this. I got 2 boxes of mre's. Which is 24 meals and I say thanks.
An old flame, who's a nurse told me that another nurse said she had 2? cases of mre, but the childrens had opened all the packages and scattered for the M&Ms. Go figure.
Hungry? Steal a TV. On another front, which should go in Buster's BS. MY son & I put tarpaper on roof on Monday. Just what little wind we've had it's gone. Wood is rotten.
