Discovery Channel Shows A Haunting - Takes A Thief - Good Shows

Im not sure if anyone has seen this show or not but it is very good. If you like I guess scary movies this is a very good show to watch.

Also it takes a thief.

I have a friend who runs home every day to watch A Haunting. She says it's pretty scary.

A haunting is awesome. I like the one where this guy dabbles in wichcraft after he finds indian bones. then, every night he hears this bear-like growling and it also tries to strangle him by snapping his covers down. he is also scared to tell anyone, because he doesn't want anyone to live in discomfort, because it was his fault this happened in the first place. one night, he almost gets strangled, and, of course, runs to his mom and tells her everything. she then reads a passage out of the bible and hears the growling noise by a closet door. she puts her ear to the door, and, suddenly, the thing starts strangling her. the guy grabs his bible and hold it to the door. the thing , whatever it was, let go immediatly. they then fled the house and stayed in a boarding house. it was fine for the 1st few nights, but the guy starts to hear the beast again, and, again, almost gets strangled. then, the next day, he seeks for help from the church. the church tells him that whitchcraft isn't real, and it is all in his head. he went to all different churches, and they all said the same thing. he then decides to go home and, after a long time of thinking, decides to fight fire with fire. he will reverse the witchcraft by using witchcraft. he invites a white witch (half witch half christian) to perform it. he makes a pentegram, uninverted, on the ground and circles it in salt. they say a bunch of stuff and blow out the candles. as soon as the candles are blown out, however, a thunderstrom starts. It shows her daughter looking out of the window in her room. all of the sudden, a demonic-like figure jumps up into the window (Scared the shit outta me!). The witchcraft had just made the thing more powerful. He is talking to a girl, and she tells him of a hair stylist that is known for reversing w/e was haunting him. He goes to her ohuse, and she said to recite a prayer. he recites it fine, until he gets to the word "Jesus". As we all know, demonically possessed people cannot say "Jesus". anyhow, after a couple efforts, the chair flings back powerfully, and he starts squirming on the ground, the demons shouting curse words in languages unknown to the person. the stylist hold up a cross, and says a bunch of prayer to the violently shaking and screaming man. after a while, you hear sort of a hiss, and the man stands up. He has regained his faith, and the spirit has never been back since. they interviewed him in the show, and he is still alive today.

There goes my thoughts about trying witchcraft...
lol, the church got pwned there, saying witchcraft isn't real.

for 2 reasons

1. The church acually belives it is real and doesn't want other people to know.
2. Christianity, in fact, is not real, and the priests know nothing.
3. If # 2 is correct, witchcraft is an unknown force in which we do not know how it works.

Christianity, like any religion, is mostly just a set of ideas. An idea can neither be proven or disproven.

This is coming from an open-minded Christian (rather oxymoronic, isn't it?).

I suggest the Rastafarian icon is not the most appropriate for an atheist.

Hi, Xiphos. Please...stop trying to help witches. Trust me, I know that your well-meant efforts are only making people think that we're even weirder.

Yes I did. Telling xi to stop "helping" witches tells me that Els think all witches are evil. Anyway, I don't think discussing it is weird at all, but I don't want to go into an extensive debate. I don't do debates.
