suspiscious file removal

I discovered a file on my computer that I cannot get rid of. When I right click to see properties I get a pop menu that offers preview, edit, send to and open with. None of which do anything when selected. The file cannot be dragged or dropped into the trash or anyhwere else.

Gipo's moveon doesn't work, when I try to select the file I get a message saying that the file name is invalid.

Norton doens't seem to have a problem with it when it runs its virus scan.

Any ideas what this is and how to get rid of it?

Thanks

What's the name of the file and where does it live?

It lived in limewire's library, and had a veritable encyclopedia after the words "lindsay lohan" I'm not even sure sure who lindsay lohan is, I presume she's a britany spears type person.

Anyway, I realized it was in limewire and was able to delete it from the library there.

Limewire didn't want you deleting the file because someone was downloading it from you.

You may want to get the Ultimate Boot CD for Windows, http://www.ubcd4win.com.

Make a bootable CD from this. Boot your PC. Find the file and erase it using the utilities there.

With that method, you're nearly sure to erase the file, since Windows won't be hijacking it.

Actually, his guess was uncannily close to the mark. Lindsay Lohan is indeed a Britney Spears type person, right down to the marked inability to sing, dance or be creative beyond posing with her pert breasts being prominently presented.

I wonder what it is like being someone whose job it is to make dirty old men want to fuck you?

I hadn't heard of the bimbo either. I haven't been listening to the radio much lately. I've been listening to old Cranberries over and over again. I get stuck on stuff sometimes.

Not at all, I don't watch tv or read the tabloids. most of the popular culture I'm aware of is through the cellar.

Once a year I read people magazine when I'm at the dentist, though the last two years he saw me right away, despite my purposely arriving a half hour early just so I could get caught up on my Pop culture.

I googled her and saw why my computer may have been loathe to part with that file. It's gone now. I quit limewire and deleted the file from the limewire library. There's only supposed to be music in there anyway.
