Quote:
In regards to the e-mail sent out by __________.

It is a VIOLATION of HIPAA SECURITY POLICY to write down your passwords.

DO NOT follow __________'s recommendations to put your password on a sticky note on the back of your badge.

One - the sticky note could fall off.
Two - you could lose your badge.

Thank you for your attention on this matter.

I have to send bizarre e-mails fairly regularly.

We had a case at my law firm that was about the shrink wrap packaging used for some meats. As an exhibit for the case, someone had a huge slab of meat taking up most of a refrigerator in one of our pantries. It was in there for about a month or so after a hearing, and started off nice and red, but became rather brown after being forgotten for a while. When people started lodging complaints, I had to track down who the slab of meat belonged to. I wish I kept that e-mail. It's hard to make an e-mail that you can claim is a serious e-mail but that is really designed to make people chuckle and go "WFT".

With the proliferation of web-sites that require password access, as well as PC and network applications that demand secure access via username/password combos, remembering all those combinations is getting to be quite a problem for a lot of people.

I have the solution to this....

for a nominal monthly fee, I will record your various username/passwords againt the relevent application in my database. Then, when you wish to access , for example your bank account, just email me and I will respond with your password and username...
