Stray Dog
I have 3 dogs:
Bitsy-9yr old chihuahua/ratterrier Daisy- 7yr old daughter of Bitsy, currently in heat (yea!) Buddy - 3 or 4 yr old black lab neutured male Daisy went into heat on Fri. OK no big deal we have a nice roomy pen for her and Bitsy when this happens. Buddy is not a problem, he's neutered. We have a fence all the way around our property and Buddy will keep out other male dogs. Right? Wrong. Instead there is a tan male of some kind that jumps our fence and won't go away. His ribs are showing, and Buddy is treating him like a friend. When we come outside, he is willing to chase this stray away, but otherwise we look outside and they're playing! We can't get close enough to grab Stray and take him to the SPCA, and we aren't sure if he'll attack or not. He won't let us get within 6 ft of him. Call animal control? They won't come out to our area, although we are a part of the county, we aren't under county maintance or some shit like that. Normally our little dogs spend all day outside, since we are gone almost all day. But now they can't be out there without our supervision. So instead of being at the library where I have access to the material I need and a lack of distractions, I am at home where I can't seem to get focused on my paper. This desk is the wrong height, I don't have enough space, the dogs need out, ect ect. I have two papers I need to work on and a "reading response" which is like an informal paper. One is due before midnight and the other two are due on Wed. I work tomorrow and have to go to the gyno (yea!) and won't have time for both, and not really even one of em. I have two tests on Fri. And I have to figure out what I want to do for my next Eng project. I don't even know when its due. Next weekend I have to go to Ft. Worth, over an hour away, to train to be a trainer at my work. I don't know how I am going to get there, I don't want to drive b/c of traffic, and I don't even know when or where I need to be. The insurance company ruled my wreck as my fault, although the other driver was illegally in the turn lane, so we're fighting that. I hate life right now. I'm a slow paced person, I don't like having too much goin on, so that I can give my best to what I do have happening. But I have to work full time and go to school full time. I want to be with my b/f, my parents are driving me nuts with all of their expectations, and my brother is cranky.

Take a deep breath....
repeat after me 'I m Normal'.... do the same again.... eventually, you will believe this...... Then you can grab the 12-bore and blast that stray to the next state...

I would end up hyperventilating. I should keep a paper bag with me at all times.

Does the SPCA have live traps that they loan out? Some other animal control agency? Just bait the trap and keep your animals inside... and wait.
