I'm doing a lot of worthless shit today. Lately I've been doing very little at all: worthless or otherwise.

Today is different though. I've got the start to what could be a half-decent story.

Someone want to kick me in the teeth and tell me to get my ass in gear?

Interesting trip idea. It is possible to get in shape during a bike tour (I did an Ireland tour fat) but if it were up to me I'd get the fitness up to 60 odd miles a day so you can suck it up some day you need to tear off an 20 extra miles. Why not start a thread?
