Winter kisses, Summer tires

that was what she gave to me...

Actually our summer tires had had enough last fall and we pitched them when we put on the snows. (haakepelita, awesome gnarly shredders)

Now that the snows are about to come off I realized we haven't any summer tires to put on. I wondering if anyone has a recommendation for good summer tires, 16" FWD lots o' highway miles. (about 24k/ yr)?

Would like to keep it under a hundred bucks per tire.

Tire Rack

Quote:
The family members who work at Tire Rack live within five miles of each other, and Matt Edmonds, marketing vice president and son-in-law, describes the working relationship as almost impossibly pleasant. While they "have their moments," the family gets along very well, he says. So well that they want the company "to feel like a family" to all 401 employees.

Les Schwab despite the fact that you'll have to drive 6000 miles round trip to have the set installed.

Ok, I'm kidding. But these people are the West Coast version of UT's short quote. I'm not kidding about that part. I have seen these people run out to the lot to greet me, I have had them replace tires multiple times (young driver slowly learning how to navigate that right hand turn without hitting the curb) -- no charge. All free service for the tire for-ever. Oh, and the tires are good too. Just ask them what's the best for your situation, including price range.
