Utilikilts

"American made kilts for everyday wear" -- just love 'em.

Just was talking to beautiful Daughter No. 2, and she mentioned she planned on getting her husband the "Workman" for Christmas. Utilikilts are based in Seattle, and she says over there she sees construction workers dressed in them, and you certainly do see them being worn around town.

If you haven't visited their website lately (or ever) there are some hysterical mock commercials you just gotta see!

They are very comfortable and you may be surprised how quickly 'around the house' becomes 'whenever'

Yeah, I want to get one for Beest. Someone he paintballs with found a pattern on the interweb and made his own, but I barely have time to launder the clothes we have, never mind make more.....

One of the dads at school wears one all the time -looks great.

I just got one a couple of months ago (finally) but haven't had too many opportunities to wear it with the colder weather settling in.

my son in laws a custom steel fabricator, and he intends to wear it at work. Guess it gets pretty hot in the workshop.

Yeah, NOW it is. Stupid freak temperature change. Still, it does give me an opportunity to wear the kilt.

Love that shot. That's all I can think of when someone mentions kilts. Utilikilts are not that attractive frankly. I go for the real thing and hopefully the gent is truly going commando as so nicely displayed above.
