Plays, Musicals, and Broadway

I just saw Jersey Boys from "Broadway in Chicago" at the LaSalle Bank Theatre with my family.

It was excellent. Probably the best musical or play I've seen. The few times I've seen musicals or plays I thoroughly enjoy them. Is that weird for a college kid? Meh. I have a new respect for the Four Seasons and Frankie Valli's falsetto. (They were named the fifth best 60s artist/band behind The Beatles, The Supremes, Elvis, and The Rolling Stones [how's that for company?])

In high school I saw Spamalot (the Monty Python musical/play) which was hilarious. Next winter I hope I can save enough money to go see Wicked with my girlfriend. That is the show to see in the Chi. I also saw a smaller scale but truly funny play called "Spelling Bee." Great stuff. I wish I was 30 years old so I could go on $500 dates in a metropolis Or do I? You dwellars have any plays or musicals you enjoyed and would like to share?
