Just because he had to say Marcel's behavior is not part of the question.

In Las Vegas, some woman cracked Marcel over the head with a bottle, after she asked him, "are you Marcel?"

good..I didn't want to watch that show.. but the g/f likes it.. so being the easily impressionable fellow that I am.. (and up to the elbows in the culinary arts field as I am..).. anywhoo! that marcel yutz.. man. I tell you if I had to work with that fellow (assuming his personality is in fact like the one he displays on the show) he would be lucky to walk away with just a lump on the head and not a few fingers short.. " oops, sorry marcel I guess you ought not have put your fingers right next to the meat I was butchering"..

anyway.. I thought Sam was the one who ought to have won it. his skills were solid, he had a level head, decent creative ability.. and out of any of them my money would be on him to actually be able to run a successfull restuarant.

I was really hoping that they wouldn't take it down to two ... and they have the wrong two, on the basis of one challenge, really.

I would have preferred Sam and Ilan to be in the final. I didn't think that Elia has the chops, and she should have been eliminated anyway during the week that Mia quit and told the judges to keep her. What'shername, Betty, should have been dumped the week that she changed the Splenda for sugar in the diabetic kids camp show, even though her team won the challenge. Cheating is cheating.

This show, like Project Runway, is one of my guilty pleasures.

What is it with Marcel and the foams, anyway? Is it something to do with his rather bizarre hairstyle? I actually relaxed a bit in my opinion of him after the Marcel gets tortured episode. He is a good technical chef, and might win just because of that, but he lacks the soul that really good cooking requires.

At this point, I hope Marcel wins because Ilan is even more of an ass - but neither should be there. No complaints about Sam's food other than he didn't cook his raw fish dish?

I have to say the challenges are frickin' hard on this show. But I really abhor all the "competition/elimination" shows, as well as reality shows in general. So mean spirited!

I used to like the show, but it has serious issues...
"I want them to take risks"...
"WHAT IS THIS?!... THIS IS CRAZY"?
They never know what they want, or they say what they want then bitch about it when they get it.

The Marcel thing, I disagree with most, the food and being on time is all that matters.
