Anne Frank Diary Heroine Dies
Miep Gies, one of the people who helped hide and feed the Frank family as they hid from the nazis, and the person who preserved Anne's diary until such a time as it could be published, died aged 100.
What a marvelous individual. I read Anne Frank as a young girl and was always inspired by the bravery of Miep. I had no idea she was still alive until now. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/8453331.stm
