Google peers into top Swiss tourist sites
Google remains in court in Switzerland over complaints about photos from its Street View mapping software showing people’s faces and license plates. But the privacy dispute didn’t stop the company from launching a new project with seven of the country’s top tourist attractions. It allows you to take a virtual online tour of such sites as Heidi’s village in the canton of Graubünden, the hillside medieval town of Gruyères and the cobble courtyards of the Château de Chillon near Montreux.
