Daylight Savings

The Cellar did not set itself for the end daylight savings. My Windows machine did. Is this because the Cellar server (say that three time real fast) isn't running under Windows or because you need to reboot for the clock to automatically reset?

Looks good from here. Do you have the proper GMT offset on your profile, rich?

How come you're up so late?

I reset my body clock from BST to GMT.
Sadly the rest of the world did not.
American posters are still most active after my bedtime.

Hmmmm, that sounds like a plan I could work on...

Geeez, it's been a long day.
Getting up an hour "early" is much harder on me than staying up later.

I got each and every clock and watch except one...the clock in my wife's minivan.

Damned if I can figure out how to set the thing.

Important and secret chick information that I share with you because you are a good friend and we went to the same high school: We keep and read instruction manuals.

If you can figure out the walking in heels thing, I would appreciate that information in return.

My wife does not count herself in that group. Had I been there eleven years ago, I would have done so (that's how I can figure out my truck's radio) and thus wouldn't be in the odd situation of having a car clock that is correct only part of the year.

Walking in heels? Easy peasy. Stretch your calf muscles in the beginning, learn to lean back slightly until it is an instinct, balance on the balls of your feet and make friends with a good podiatrist.

I learned from a stripper, so I know I learned from the best. But I never got to the master's level, where she would have taught me the secrets of standing and walking in ballet boots. I have enough trouble SITTING in the damn things!

Anytime you genetic ladies (or closet crossdressers) want to moan about how your feet hurt in three or four inch heels, just imagine doing three sets (about fifteen minutes) on a stage, wearing ballet-toed boots, energetically dancing to rock music with dozens of drooling guys waving dollar bills at you. And you have to SMILE while dong it too!

You can find most manuals on line.
