Xmas 2011

I would like to take this opportunity to wish each and every one of you as Merry a Christmas as you can stand, and I hope the New Year brings you nothing but good things.

I love this place.

Likewise! I wish all Dwellars a peaceful, toothsome and happy Christmas and that 2012 brings health, wealth and (even) more happiness. This is a remarkable community and I am proud to be part of it. Thanks, too, to UT for making it happen.

So what cool stuff did you get?

I think this might be the coolest thing I got.
With a hook shaped knife, you can carve hollow areas easily.

Like this spoon I just made from a hunk of black walnut I saved when we cut down a tree in my yard. Still need to sand it, etc.

I hope everyone had a wonderful day, if not with family, at least with friends.

Glatt: That is a cool gift.

As for gifts, I wasn't expecting anything. I figured my brother and his wife would give each of us a fleece cap. Yeah, you read right, a fleece cap. Saw him buy a truckload of it. Anyways, they gave my sis and I earphones. Good ones. I am very happy with it.

I got a lot of nice things - a Brighton clock for one. I loves me some Brighton.

A nice holiday all 'round. Except for the son V. son thing last night.
