Christmas Shopping

Yes, I know, we haven't even got past Halloween yet, but as this year is likely to be a little leaner than recent years for me, I decided to start early and spread the cost.

So, I just ordered some early pressies. And it occurred to me this might be a groovy place to keep track of interesting gifts.

Here's a few of what I have so far:

For my 15 year old cat obsessed niece:

For my bro, who lurves to barbeque:

And for my SiL who likes wine. They've just got a Jack Russell pup called Duncan as a companion for their Rhodesian Ridgeback. Whilst Ruby the rhodie is mainly Martin's dog, Duncan the Jack Russell is mainly Jen's.

All look like excellent choices. You have a gift (so to speak).

She has four! I might have to have a pair of those meat shredders. Looks like they'd be better than two forks...

That site, firebox.com, is a hoot, btw.

Dana, if you haven't gotten my gift yet, I'll take one two of these:

Holy shit. My stepdaughter would love that cat bank, and those shredder claws are going in my own stocking this year. I've bought stuff from Firebox before, but it's been awhile since I perused their site. Keep posting the stuff you find, maybe I'll get all my Christmas shopping done without doing any of the work myself!
