Lost & Found

In 1958 GM wrote them off and sent them to Warhoops Junkyard in Sterling Heights, MI, to be destroyed. They appointed a GM guy to oversee the destruction, but it was Christmas week and the guy was supposed to be on vacation, so he figured the yard would handle it.
But Harry didn't want to crush them, after all were talking GM Motorama show cars here. Besides the instructions were sketchy. Besides he didn't have paperwork to prove ownership. Besides GM might want them back. So they sat in the yard until now.
