The Last Leg

yey! New series starts tonight!

I love this show. It started out as Channel 4's nightly post-action show for the paralympics but then they got a commission for a general weekly series.

Hosted by three comedians, one has a prosthetic foot, the other has a prosthetic leg and deformed hands, and the third is their token able-bodied person.

All of these clips contain nsfw language.

This was how it looked during the paralympics:

They have guests as well and do all sorts of mad shit. A couple of regular features that started during the paralympic shows have carried through to the general show - one of them is the 'is it alright'? section - initially that was to answer genuine questions people might have about how to discuss disabilities, when to offer help, what's ok to say etc. People would tweet their is it ok? question and the team would riff on that. Nowadays the Is it ok? questions tend to be pointing up news items - stupid shit people have said or done.

The other feature, usually coming off the back of the is it ok? question is the 'Don't be a dick' rant - which is my favourite bit of the show :p

Here are a few examples:

After winning a tv award, the tv channel congratulated them with a special cake!

Alex has a go at a rant:

I wish I could get some clips from the other segments of the show - but they're all Channel4 clips so wouldn't play outside the UK.
